Sub-grant Orientation Online Training

Under “Supporting Grassroots Advocacy to Strengthen Human Rights in Myanmar” project with the fund of UNDEF, EQMM proposal evaluation team, program team, development team, and finance team delivered the sub-grant orientation online training.

“The online training was essential during the COVID-19 period. This training helps a lot to be on the next step. It is more beneficial for the current project. This online training supports to be ready for implementing a project” said a member of ODF organization from Chin State.

The 5-day online training was conducted from 21st to 25th September 2020. The 12 representatives from three partner CSOs from Mon State, Chin State, and Magway Division joined the sub-grant orientation training.

The three partners CSOs gained the skills and knowledge to conduct a sub-grant activities process under EQMM sub-grant guidelines, EQMM policies and financial management, and reporting system. Moreover, EQMM aims to achieve the three partners CSOs to gain success for accountability and sustainability purpose and mitigation on risks.

“Because of this training, we have to be careful about how to conduct the project activities ever before. I was well aware of what to follow along with the EQMM’s policies & guidelines” said a member of MYEO organization from Mon State.

“I have previously had accounting experience. Now I know more about it. Among the EQMM policies, two policies on child protection policy & sexual harassment are the most interesting policy to lean “said a member of KLM organization from Magway Division.
