International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT) is an occasion to draw attention to the discrimination experienced by LGBTIQ people in the world. But also serves as a celebration of gender and sexuality diversity in every space of society. Under the theme “Justice and Protection for all”, we want to focus on celebrating the diversity that makes us unique.
Valuing diversity recognizes and celebrates differences between people. In @Equality Myanmar, we are proud of our diverse team. A family made out of different colors, religions, genders and beliefs. We might be different but we grow together.
Equality Myanmar (EQMM) is a leading nongovernmental organization that organises a wide range of human rights education and advocacy programs, the documentation human rights violations, and provides emergency support for activists, human rights defenders, and their families. We work with a range of local civil society organizations, educators, activists, various local actors, and our programs and activities reach all states and regions in Myanmar.
