United Against Child Trafficking (United ACT)

Since 2013, this program has become a main stream of EQMM in our advocacy for Child Rights issues. This program focuses on engaging and empoweringtrafficked, at-risk and vulnerable children to advocate and educate on their own behalf through theater, and eradicating child labors in Myanmar and Asia. United ACT beneficiaries learn basic skills in creative drama and writing, body movement, sounds, music and visual theater, while fostering their imagination and strengthening their confidence to artistically express issues that are important to them.

Under United ACT program

1. Protecting the Right of the Children on the Move including Survivors of Child Trafficking in Asia and eradiating child labors become an objective of program. Therefore, this program is designed to protect the migrant children and children with migration from human trafficking and promoting the child rights in targeted areas especially border line of Thailand Myanmar and eradiating child labors and providing legal assistance to children.

2. Producing child rights and child labours MTV and music video

3. Child theatre trainings

4. Child rights and child labours awareness trainings

5. Peer educations to form child club, parent and child meeting, youth clubs

6. With partner organizations, this program Provides legal assistance to children in target communities

7. Participation in national regional and international child rights advocacy
