The album will be distributed at International Peace Day events which are being held throughout Burma on September 21st.<\/p>\n<p>The album, titled \u201cA Light in the Door,\u201d is dedicated to raising awareness of the struggle and hardship which people living in Burma\u2019s conflict zones are facing.<\/p>\n<p>The album features 10 songs composed and performed by Burmese musicians. It will be distributed throughout Burma, particularly in the Kachin, Karenni, Karen, Chin, Mon, and Shan regions.<\/p>\n<p>This is HREIB\u2019s first music album focusing on peace and conflict resolution.<\/p>\n<p>The production of the album was funded by Terre des Hommes Germany and the Institut f\u00fcr Auslandsbeziehungen\u2019s zivik program.<\/p>\n<p>The album reflects a collaboration among many young Burmese artists and composers who dedicated to promoting issues of peace and reconciliation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Human Rights Education Institute of Burma (HREIB) has released a music album promoting peace and conflict resolution.
