{"id":4504,"date":"2018-02-17T10:38:34","date_gmt":"2018-02-17T04:08:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/equalitymyanmar.org\/new-eng\/?p=4504"},"modified":"2022-08-05T10:36:49","modified_gmt":"2022-08-05T04:06:49","slug":"upr-universal-periodic-review-midterm-planning-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/equalitymyanmar.org\/?p=4504","title":{"rendered":"UPR (Universal Periodic Review) Midterm Planning Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cUPR (Universal Periodic Review) Midterm Planning Meeting\u201d was held with members from Burma\/Myanmar UPR Forum and some representatives from CSOs in Myanmar for\u00a0<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">three days, on 13 to15 February at Central Hotel in Myanmar.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>30 representatives participated in the meeting and discussed about UPR midterm report to be submitted. Executive Director of Equality Myanmar, U Aung Myo Min, facilitated the meeting and Ma Cheery Zahua presented and explained about examples of UPR midterm report submitted by other governments and NGOs as a researcher.<\/p>\n<p>During the days of the meeting, the participants learned about all the recommendations accepted by Myanmar government.
