From September 9 to 14, the Human Rights Education Institute of Burma (HREIB) and the anti-child trafficking group United-Act held a collaborative CRC Audit Training (TOT) in Mae Sot, Thailand.

The training centered on the principles of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and shared the message to other children.

Participants were trained in report writing skills, particularly with regard to the Right to Education, one of the core articles of the CRC.

Following the training, participants will hold discussions on the issues of child rights with children from migrant schools, refugee camps, conflict zones, migrant worker sectors, and inside Burma.

Aung Myo Min from HREIB conducted the training sessions on facilitation and discussion skills, child rights concepts, and data collection.

Overall, ten participants attended the training, including representatives from migrant schools, training programs, youth organizations, refugee camps, and migrant workers activist groups.
