This updated training manual is HREIB’s premier human rights resource for educators and facilitators. It was initially published in 1998 and is currently widely used in human rights trainings and workshops. It is the primary reference book for the study of human rights in Burmese. This manual is an updated version of an original human rights training manual, published in 1998. This updated version supplements the original publication with more in-depth explanations on the definitions of human rights, as well as more background information regarding historical developments in human rights.
